..............................................................................
The SLO life.
San Luis Obispo, California
.............................................................................

I have been back home from Hungary for about 2 weeks now and it has been great to catch up with family and friends. It has been especially sweet to visit my church family at Metro Calvary. It is so encouraging to see the work that God is doing in and through that fellowship. Truly a group of sweet, sweet people that love Jesus and treasure the word of God.

And the answer to the big question that has been going around.... NOW WHAT??

Well, in a week I will be packing up my suitcase and my car one last time and parking down in San Luis Obispo, California. San Luis Obispo (aka: SLO) is the college town that I lived in for 4 years prior to moving out to Hungary. I have been blessed with the opportunity to serve with Calvary Chapel SLO as the office manager and women's ministry assistant. Pray for my transition in this new season that God has for me. It has been 2 years since I have lived there and I am both thankful and excited to go back. Cal Poly is the college in town that I graduated from. It was in the dorms my freshman year of college that God really got ahold of my heart. That is where I first learned to walk with the Lord, to seek Him, and to study His word. Calvary Chapel San Luis Obispo was the first church that I was truly grounded in. I am thrilled that God is bringing me back to this place that is so dear to my heart and I am really looking forward to all that He has for me there. I have so many sweet memories of Calvary SLO and I look forward to making many more. I am especially looking forward to being apart of the lives of the young college girls! Pray for the students of Cal Poly that don't know the Lord and for the ministry of Calvary Chapel SLO. Calvary Chapel SLO is a fellowship of primarily young people that are hungry for Jesus. Pray for that these young people would come to know Jesus, that their hearts would be revived, and their lives changed.

San Luis Obispo is on the Central Coast of California, about 5 hours away from Loomis, my hometown. SLO is a college town that has over 18,000 students.
